The position is in the Directorate of Cadastre Information, Maintenance, and Supply Services in the North West.

Requirements:
You must have a Grade 12 certificate and be proficient in the use of GIS software, Cadastral Surveys, and the office processes of the Surveyor-General. In addition, you should have good communication skills and be capable of presenting and writing reports.
Duties:
Maintaining and capturing alpha-numeric information of cadastral documents is a vital part of any cadastral record management system. Other tasks include reviewing and improving the database, issuing new documents, taking action on withdrawn or canceled documents, amending approved records, and performing technical examinations of plans and diagrams.

You can provide customers with cadastral maps and other information. You can also investigate the data related to land reform and surveys. You must maintain and update the databases of the system.
You can add new land parcels and historical data such as historical facts to the system. When necessary, you can also scan documents related to the cadastral matters. These documents should be linked to numerical data in order to perform technical examinations and take action on withdrawn or canceled records.
