ISASA Teaching Bursaries

Available Teaching Bursaries at Unisa
Bursaries are provided for Grade 12 students, foundation phase students, intermediate students, and FET teachers who want to further their education in the following fields:

ISASA Teaching Bursaries Requirements
Candidates who wish to apply for a bursary through ISASA must provide the following documentation:
- Certified copy of applicant’s birth certificate or ID document
- South African citizens are required to apply.
- Matric candidates must provide their mid-year results or the most recent results received.
- Matriculated candidates must provide their year-end grades.
- With a B pass, you can get a Matric exemption.
- Matric exemption with a minimum of 60% in English
- Matriculation exemption with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics or Science
- University students must provide certified copies of their senior certificates.
- University students must provide certified copies of their most recent academic records.
- University graduates must have English as a major. Graduates must also have Mathematics or Science as a major.
- Students at the tertiary level must obtain credits in English.
- Tertiary students must have credits in either Mathematics or Science.
