SAPS Traineeship 2022-2023: South African Police Service

SAPS (South African Police Service) traineeship 2022-2023 online application are available in each of South Africa’s provinces each year. Those who wish to apply must do so within their own province. The bulk of SAPS traineeship will be for 24 months and will include a monthly stipend. The police have various offices and precincts in each national region of South Africa.

What is the purpose of the South African Police Service’s (SAPS) Traineeship?

The major goal is to help fill any future roles that may become available, as well as to provide safe and secure support to everyone. Candidates will learn about the causes of traffic accidents, road traffic signs, traffic and road legislation, and criminal behavior. Candidates will be involved in crime prevention method coordination or creation, as well as police operations and maintenance.

The Metro department has grown greatly in recent years, but it hopes to see even more growth and more community participation in the near future. They help with a range of road issues, such as community policing, illegal road usage, and more.

This programme will educate students everything they need to know about criminal law, police ethics, and community policing in all circumstances. The majority of SAPS traineeship comprise both a study training term and a field training period.

SAPS Traineeship Requirements

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 at the time of application. Candidates must send a complete curriculum vitae that includes contact information, references who may be reached, and any other material they believe is pertinent to their application. Include certified copies of all required certifications, identity, and address proof that is no older than three months. Candidates must be South African nationals or permanent residents.

Candidates must also have or provide the following:

  • Candidates for the Matriculation Certificate must be both cognitively and physically fit.
  • Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English and have no criminal past.
  • Computer savvy
  • Candidates must have a current Code B card. A current driver’s license
  • Be self-motivated and able to collaborate with others.
  • Candidates must be outstanding communicators.
  • Candidates must have the ability to lead others.

Candidates must be prepared to take the? Oath? as determined by the Municipality of concern after completing their traineeship. Flexibility paired with a drive to learn and a willingness to work are required. Candidates must be able to perform well under pressure, be honest and trustworthy, and have a good mindset.

Candidates who make the short list may be asked to take the following tests:

  • An English Proficiency Exam
  • Is there a fitness exam that requires you to run? Can a man run 2.4 kilometers in 11 minutes?
  • Females do a 2.4-kilometer run in 14.30 minutes.
  • A Obstacle Course for Medical Check-Ups? Provide a Medical Certificate demonstrating candidates’ capacity to participate in intense workouts (Physical Exam) Males must finish in less than 3 minutes? females in four minutes?

Candidates must be willing to serve in any region or department of their province or department. Candidates must be willing to labor for free during the necessary physical and abnormal training periods. Candidates must satisfy all departmental training requirements.

There is no online application process for SAPS traineeship. Applications must be gathered by SAPS Department Offices in their Region or Province.
