Traffic Officer Learnerships 2022 – 2023

There are various opportunities for young, intelligent persons to work as traffic officers. A variety of companies provide these traffic officer learnerships 2022-2023 on a yearly basis.

The majority of these are for at least a year (12 months). All of these businesses are seeking for motivated South Africans with a lot of energy.

Basic Requirements for Traffic Officer Learnerships

Candidates must be under the age of 35 to apply. Candidates must submit a comprehensive curriculum vitae. They should also submit contact information for references, as well as any other information they believe is relevant to their application. Include certified copies of all applicable certificates, identification documents, and proof of address that are no more than three months old.

Candidates must also meet the following guidelines:

  • You must be a South African citizen to apply.
  • Candidates must be in possession of a valid South African ID document.
  • All applicants must have a valid Code B driver’s license. Manual
  • Candidates must have finished Grade 12 and be in possession of a certificate.
  • Applicants must be fluent in English and at least one other language.
  • Candidates must have no criminal history.
  • For strenuous exercises, you must be medically fit.
  • All applicants must be competent to possess a firearm and thus not be found incompetent under the Firearms Control Act. Candidates must also not be deemed incompetent under any other relevant legislation.
  • Selected applicants must be available to work weekends, holidays, and shifts.
  • Applicants must be outstanding communicators?
  • Candidates, both verbal and written, must not be included in any employee firing proceedings.

Any form of deception will not be permitted. Only those who have made the shortlist will be notified. These candidates will be submitted to medical, driving, fitness, and fingerprinting tests. After finishing their learnership, candidates are not guaranteed a permanent position; nevertheless, some of these institutes may grant permanent posts if an opening emerges.

Traffic Officer Learnerships Application are Open

Some companies provide online application processes for learnerships. They do not all offer this service, and applications are available at the offices.

Candidates must download and complete a Z83 Form, which can be obtained from any of the Provincial Government Departments.

Candidates are strongly encouraged to completely fill out and sign these documents. A certified copy of the candidate’s ID, any and all qualifications, License, Curriculum Vitae, and contact information should be included with each application.

Candidates must be willing to travel and move if necessary. The majority of the training will adhere to the SAQA Registered Qualification standards for Traffic Officer.

This module is divided into sections. This is done to verify that all criteria are met in the same manner.

  • Traffic and Legislation
  • Vehicle Compliance and Legislation
  • Traffic Hazards and Legislation
  • Load Compliance Communications with the General Public

Late applications will not be accepted, thus candidates are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadlines.

The bulk of the companies involved in these learnerships asks that candidates allow three months for communication after the closing dates. Candidates should assume that their applications were unsuccessful if no communication is received within this time range.
